Wise Owl Learning provides non-diagnostic, neurodiversity-affirming educational services for children and young people. All support is grounded in understanding how a learner thinks, processes and engages with learning, and in offering practical strategies that support access to education.
Services are available in Gorey and online, with availability structured to ensure quality and sustainability.

Functional Learning & Support Profiles (Non-Diagnostic)
This is the foundation of our work.
A Functional Learning & Support Profile provides a clear, practical understanding of how a child learns, highlighting strengths, support needs and any barriers affecting access to learning. The focus is on what helps rather than labels or diagnosis.

This service may be helpful when:

A child is experiencing learning difficulties or reduced confidence

Families are seeking clarity and practical next steps

A student is awaiting further assessment

Schools are supporting learners without a formal diagnosis

Parent intake and background review

Teacher input (where appropriate)

A 60–75 minute assessment session (in-person or online)

Assessment-Informed Tutoring
Tutoring at Wise Owl Learning is purposeful and assessment-led.
Sessions are informed by a Functional Learning & Support Profile and focus on building understanding, confidence and effective learning strategies. The aim is to support learners to develop skills and independence rather than long-term reliance on tutoring.

Offered in structured, time-limited blocks with review points
Tutoring is offered where it forms part of a clear, supportive plan following assessment.

Workshops & Skills Sessions
Wise Owl Learning offers small-group workshops for parents and students at key points throughout the year. These sessions are practical, supportive and designed to build understanding and confidence.
